Ongoing Project

Crescendo Industries is setting up a 120 KL per dayD grain-based distillery to manufacture Ethanol for Ethanol Blended Petroleum (EBP) with the financial assistance from Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA). Project is being built in Mahewa Village, Teonthar Tehsil, Rewa District, Madhya Pradesh on a ~20 acre land parcel. The main raw material for the project will be broken rice, which is available in abundance in the vicinity, as Madhya Pradesh is also known as the rice bowl of India.

Other by-products include

(i) DDGS (Dried Distillery Grain Solid) is an excellent cattle feed.
(ii) Carbon Dioxide

CIPL is also installing a Co-generation of capacity 3 MW for its captive consumption. Water, PESO and Consent to establish, Environmental clearance and DFPD approval for interest subvention have already been received.

The project area enjoys very good connectivity by private vehicle or public transport to other parts Madhya Pradesh as well as neighbouring states.

Future Projects

1. CIPL intends to expand the production capacity of the current project in future by another 120 KL per day, taking the total production capacity to 240 KL per day.

2. CIPL has started the process of entering into the space of Compressed Bio-Gas production. As a part of the green fuel initiative of the Government of India, there is a huge demand of Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) in the country. CIPL plans to be part of this initiative not only from the commercial perspective but also with a view to contribute towards the noble cause of creating a greener and cleaner environment and a better place to live.
